MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE

Your wedding day is one of the few occasions in your life that you will commission the services of a Professional Photographer.
Why entrust your once in a lifetime day to anything less than a specialist, Qualified, Wedding Photographer?

By choosing Mike Concannon as your photographer, you will be drawing upon a wealth of experience, having photographed well over 1000 Weddings, and can rest assured that your Wedding day will flow like a dream, and that your album will be something special that you will treasure for ever!
Mike Concannon studied photography at Bourneville Collage of Art Birmingham and is now a specialist Wedding and Portrait  Photographer and a licentiate member of the exclusive Master Photographers Association. With a 20+ year international reputation for personal service and fine Wedding Photography.

A wedding photographer does far more than take photographs on the day, the un-recognised Wedding co-ordinator, the guiding hand at each and every step. It is important that you click and get on with your photographer from the first time you meet.
By booking a Photographer with experience, your wedding day will flow smoothly and your photographs will be happy and radiant!

With the exception of the classic package, every package is photographed the same way, you do not have to make a  firm decision when booking as to which package you want, as all styles of photography will be covered, the formal pictures will be taken plus un-posed casual candid pictures, giving you both styles of Traditional and the modern storybook style of photographic coverage.
Most couples book the “Love Story” and decide later, when they see the proofs, if they want to change to a “Storybook”

Photographs will start at the Brides house and then on to the Church. The traditional and group shots will all be taken in a swift way, not holding the guests back from getting on to the reception. The more casual unposed pictures will be taken from a distance, throughout the day. The romantic portraits of the two of you and the bridal party will be taken in the reception grounds or at a second location.

The “Classic” package is very reasonably priced, and is for the bride who wants simplicity and a hassle free day, who doesn’t want the photographs to take over the day and wants lots of time to mingle with her guests, and mostly, a very complete album with all of the shots that you would expect your wedding photographer to take!

Planning is the secret to a problem and stress free day!
To ensure that everything will go smoothly, there will be a meeting a week or so before your Wedding day where we will go over every aspect of your Wedding Photography wishes, leaving nothing to chance on your special day.
He will go through a Wedding day checklist and timetable, drawing on the experience of over 1000 Weddings, to identify any potential  problems, before the big day.
He will be able to give you many tips at this meeting that 20 years+ attending Weddings has taught him, to ensure you a smooth running and stress free day.

When you see the proofs, you then decide on how many pictures that you want in the album, if you want any pictures made black and white or any special effects added and what type of album you would like or even if you would like to completely change the package that you originally booked!
Couples who have decided on the storybook album will need a further visit to the studio to look at the endless possibilities and album types available to them before making their choice of 130+ pictures to go into the album!

My best tip for you at this stage is...
When shopping around photographers, always ask to see complete albums of individual weddings, not the best of the best pictures, cherry picked from  many weddings, then you will get to see your intended photographers true ability and not just the lucky one off “super” shots.

A note about price.....
Booking a photographer is not the kind of thing that you do every day, so here’s a bit of advice.
Booking a photographer on price alone, will almost always guarantee poor results. The trick is, to book a qualified photographer of many years expierience, at a reasonable price.
Sure, you will see cheaper prices than I charge, but it doesn’t matter how cheap the price was, if the results are poor, as nothing can replace your weddding photos.
A good question for your photographer is, what were you doing to earn your living 5 years ago?
What college did you attend?
Who did you serve your time under?
What type of camera do you keep as a back up, is it as good as your main one?
Do you include a top quality album with the package or is it a cheap one? And the list goes on and on.
But if the only question you ask is “how cheap can you go” then you’re going to get cheap
